Frequently Asked Questions
Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Questions:
How often should the carpets, in my home, be professionally cleaned?
It is recommended to have your carpets professionally cleaned at least once per year, ideally twice a year in the Spring and Fall, before and after we spend extended times indoors, through the Winter.
How long will it take my carpet to be cleaned?
Why is upholstery cleaning necessary and how often should it be professionally cleaned?
Upholstery, carpets, draperies and other fabrics and textiles can trap and hold things like dust, dirt, greases, gases, dead skin and allergens. Regular vacuuming and spot treatment are recommended by manufactures, as preventative maintenance, but like carpeting, it is recommended to have routine professional cleanings, for the health and longevity.
Can I walk on my Carpets after cleaning?
We recommend trying to remain off the carpet, until dry. If you have to, try not to wear shoes or allow pets, as we do not want to re-introduce dirt and other particles, into the carpet. Our team will install air movers, when requested, to help speed along drying process.

Is mold dangerous to mine or my family’s health?
Mold is a naturally occurring fungus that typically grows in areas where moisture or humidity levels are high. If your home has been subject to a flood or other water intrusion, it increases the chances of organic growth. If you feel that mold may be impacting you or a loved one’s health, it is recommended to have your home inspected by our Certified Residential Mold Inspector. Thermal Imaging, Moisture Readings, Hygrometric Readings and Indoor Air Quality Testing are just a few of the tools we utilize to find the source of the problem and develop a solution and remediation plan.

Mold Growth can be visually observed by trained professionals, although it can only be confirmed through sample collection and Laboratory Analysis. Only then can species and spore count, be identified.

We will work directly with you and your Insurance, to ensure you and your home, get back to normal. If the damage is not taken care of swiftly, it could lead to other, more costly damages, like mold.

After any water damage, in your home, it should take roughly 3-5 days, depending on size, category and class of water damage. We employ industry best drying equipment that keeps the air moving and the humidity count low.
